Late 20th Century oil on board landscape painting featuring Lewes Downs, landscape scene with pasture and distant rolling hills.

Battershill was born in 1922 and studied at the Twickenham college of art, he was a member of the Royal British Society of Artists as well as the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.

Presented in a contemporary wooden frame, signed lower right and further titled verso. Excellent colour and condition.
