Neil MINERS (1931-2020) Landscape Scene with Cottage, Oil on Board

Charming late 20th century impressionist landscape scene with cottage and pondering figure by Cornish born artist Neil Miners.

Painter and printmaker, born in Redruth, Cornwall, full name Samuel Arthur Neil Miners. He Studied drawing at Falmouth School of Art, 1948, under Jack Chalker, and painting privately. The Cornish coast, landscape and seascapes were common features of Miners’ work, shown at ROI, RI and in a series of solo exhibitions, notably at Falmouth Art Gallery, 1985–88–92. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution, HRH The Prince of Wales and Trinity House hold examples of his work.

Presented in a period white wooden frame, signed verso and with artist label.

Excellent colour and condition, the frame showing sympathetic age.
