A quant original oil on board featuring a landscape scene of St. Mary’s, Isles of Scilly, a view from Garrison Hill.

Gay was elected a member of the Bristol Savages in 1928 and for more than thirty years worked at the studios of E. S. & A.

Gay’s works includeK "Conchie" which is displayed in the Bradford Peace Museum.

Signed lower left and titled verso.

Presented in a period frame. Excellent colour and condition, would benefit a light clean.
