Timeless oil on canvas river scene with bridge and fisherman, signed lower right and presented in an ornate period frame.
A well documented artist, Alfred Vickers Senior exhibited 125 works at the RA. He painted views often with river scenes in a rapid, sketchy style using a range of pale greens which are distinctive.
